Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Awareness & Risk Assessment

Office Managers, Clerical Staff, Safety reps and those with responsibility for contributing to the risk assessment process.
Overview
Office workers are increasingly exposed to postural, ergonomic and eye care risks as dependence upon hard and software increases. These issues have been addressed by legislation in recent years - Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 as amended 2002 - and insurers have taken a greater interest since the risk is litigated cases of upper limb disorder, one of which is known as "RSI".
This course will provide an understanding of the principles or workstation ergonomics, and give delegates the "toolkit" (including all documentation) necessary to undertake display screen equipment risk assessments in their workplaces.
