E-learning IOSH Working Safely


The IOSH Working Safely is a nationally recognised and respected certificated training for people at any level in any sector, and meets the government’s guidelines for introductory health and safety training. It focuses on why health and safety is important, and how individuals can make a real difference to the wellbeing of themselves and others through changing their behaviour. 

Our IOSH Working Safely e-learning package is designed to suit those who need flexibility and easy access to gain the award.

Unit exercises:

A wide range of highly interactive and attractive learning exercises to develop and reinforce your knowledge and understanding:

Hazard spotting - Delegates can also take two different hazard spotting exercises to test their knowledge in preparation for the final assessment.


Workplace assessment - Requires delegates to identify the potential hazards within the workplace and then select the risk they cause and identify any appropriate controls to reduce the risk.


Exercises to enable assessment success:

Users are able to attempt five short mock assessment exercises which are marked automatically. 

Practice at the mock assessment exercises offers excellent preparation for final assessment success.

Study schedule - Access the detailed study schedule and take control and stay on track with your learning programme. 

Personal history tracking system - Monitor your progress by reviewing the active time spent and exercises completed.  All is recorded by the software and is easily accessible by the user.

Final assessment:

There are two assessment elements to the IOSH Working Safely:

Final assessment - consisting of 27 multiple choice questions.

Hazard spotting assessment -  consisting of 3 hazard slides.


You must successfully complete both of the assessments to gain the IOSH Working Safely award  

You can choose between IOSH’s Working Safely certificate or a credit card-sized ‘passport’ card.



Students should complete their study hours, exercises and final assessment within 1 month of purchase.  

Registration with IOSH is restricted to 3 months from purchase, which provides time for one resit, the cost of which is included in the fees. Students may be subject to IOSH re-registration fees after this 3 month period.
