All employees who use hand-held power tools, hand guided machinery or hold materials that are processed by machinery.
Overview
HSE statistics revealed that WRULDs are an all too frequent cause of debilitation in the workplace. HAV (Hand Arm Vibration) and "Vibration White Finger" are the most well known types of WRULD and the symptoms are painful and can cause long term permanent disablement. This short course aims to create an awareness of the symptoms and causes as well as looking at practical ways of reducing risks in the workplace.
